Secure Payment Options
Clear, fair, and written in plain language. These terms govern your use of our website and all professional services, with no hidden clauses, no royalty deductions, ever.
By accessing or using the website located at bookeunoia.com (the "Website") or by commissioning any service from BookEunoia ("we," "us," "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms").
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use this Website or commission any of our services.
These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and clients. Use of the Website or any service constitutes your acceptance of these Terms in full.
BookEunoia provides professional self-publishing services to independent authors, including but not limited to: book editing, proofreading, ghostwriting, book cover design, book illustration, book formatting, book publishing setup, audiobook production, global distribution, book marketing, author website development, and book translation.
All project details, deliverables, timelines, and fees are confirmed in a written project proposal prior to commencement of any work. No work begins until the client has reviewed, agreed to, and signed or confirmed acceptance of the project proposal. The project proposal, together with these Terms, constitutes the full agreement between BookEunoia and the client for that project.
Some services involve setup on or submission to third-party platforms (including Amazon KDP, IngramSpark, ACX, Findaway Voices, Apple Books, and others). BookEunoia prepares files to meet stated platform specifications but cannot guarantee acceptance by any third-party platform, as platform requirements and policies are subject to change without notice.
All fees are stated in the project proposal. Prices are quoted in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise agreed in writing. Quoted fees are firm and inclusive of the scope of work described in the proposal.
For larger projects, a milestone-based payment schedule may be agreed in the project proposal.
We accept payment by credit card, debit card, and bank transfer. All online payments are processed through secure, SSL-encrypted payment processors. BookEunoia does not store credit or debit card details.
If payment is not received within 14 days of an invoice due date, BookEunoia reserves the right to pause or suspend work on the project until payment is received.
BookEunoia charges a one-time service fee per project. We do not take, deduct, or participate in any royalties or revenues generated by the client's book sales, in any market or format, now or in the future.
Upon receipt of full payment for a project, all intellectual property rights in the deliverables produced for that project transfer fully and irrevocably to the client. This includes but is not limited to cover designs, illustrations, formatted interior files, written content, and website designs.
The number of revision rounds included in each service is stated in the individual service description and confirmed in the project proposal. Revisions are assessed against the original agreed brief.
Refund eligibility depends on the stage at which the request is made:
If a client is dissatisfied with any delivered work, BookEunoia's first response is to offer revisions in accordance with the agreed revision policy. We are committed to delivering work that meets the agreed brief. If after all included revisions the client remains dissatisfied, BookEunoia will work with the client in good faith to reach a fair resolution.
BookEunoia treats all client materials, including manuscript content, project details, personal information, and any other materials shared in the course of a project, as strictly confidential. This information will not be shared with any third party except as necessary for the delivery of the agreed services.
All specialists and team members working on client projects are bound by confidentiality obligations.
BookEunoia's confidentiality obligations do not prevent us from complying with any legal requirement, court order, or regulatory obligation to disclose information.
BookEunoia warrants that all services will be performed with reasonable professional care and skill, in accordance with the agreed project brief and scope.
BookEunoia does not guarantee any specific publishing, sales, marketing, or commercial outcomes, including but not limited to: bestseller status, specific sales volumes, Amazon rankings, reader reviews, media coverage, or acceptance by any third-party platform.
While we endeavour to keep all information on the BookEunoia website accurate and current, we do not warrant that website content is complete, accurate, or free from errors at all times.
BookEunoia is not responsible for any changes, interruptions, or policy updates made by third-party platforms (including Amazon KDP, IngramSpark, ACX, and others) that may affect the client's published works after delivery.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, BookEunoia's total liability to any client in connection with any project or claim shall not exceed the total fees paid by the client for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
BookEunoia shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of revenue, or loss of anticipated royalties, even if BookEunoia has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
